Design of the 2022 Silver Maple leaf Coin
The 2022 Silver Maple coin features the same design as the previous years. The front of each coin features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. At the top of each coin is written ‘Elizabeth II’. At the bottom of the coin is its face value of $5 Canadian Dollars (CAD). The coin’s year of minting, 2022 is also located at the bottom of the coin.
On the reverse side of the coin is an image of a Canadian Maple Leaf. The Canadian Maple Leaf is the official symbol of Canada, and also appears on the country’s flag. At the top of the coin is inscribed ‘Canada’. At the bottom, 1 Ounce fine silver. The coin’s purity of 9999 is also inscribed on the back.
