About the British Royal Arms Series
The British Royal Arms coin series was first launched in 2019, making this the second year of its release. Like all British legal tender bullion, this coin features a portrait image of Queen Elizabeth II on the front. The coin's face value of £100, adn the words 'Elizabeth II' are also located on the front of the coin.
The reverse side of the coin features the official coat of arms belonging to the British Royal Family. The official Crest of the Monarchy complete with the crown lies in the center of the coin. To the left of the crest is the Lion of England, and to the right of the crest is the Unicorn of Scotland. These coins are made from 999.9 fine gold bullion, making them 24 karat investment grade gold bullion coins.
The Royal Arms series is available in gold in 1 Ounce and 1/10 Ounce sized coins. The series is also available in silver and in platinum.
Royal Mint Gold Coins Available
The Royal Mint manufacture a number of popular gold bullion coins. The gold Sovereign, which is the UK's most recognised gold bullion coin, has been minted for more than 200 years. During much of the 19th century, gold Sovereigns were manufactured throughout the British Empire, including in Canada and Australia. Sovereigns are only available in gold, and each coin contains 7.3 grams of gold bullion
The Royal Mint also manufacture the Britannia series. This is the official 1 Ounce gold bullion coin of the government of the United Kingdom. The British Britannia series was first released in gold in 1990. Today, the coin is also available in silver and in platinum.
